Year 7 and 8 Coordinator’s Message

Dear Parents and Students,

Congratulations on reaching the end of the first term of 2021. I would like to welcome all new Year 7 & 8 students and families to the Sirius College community. It has been a busy term; however, all students have adapted well and have shown great responsibility.

After a challenging 2020, I understand that students require more support than any other time. I would like to encourage all students to approach me at any time of need. Keeping this in mind, students also have responsibilities to fulfil. Students are expected to keep note of their behavior level on Seqta as reaching certain levels may lead to loss of privileges.

Please see points below regarding uniform:

• Term 2 and 3: Students are expected to wear blazers/Jackets (It is compulsory for parents to purchase the blazer from the start Term 1.
• During excursions or any time students are representing school, they are expected to wear the full uniform (Including blazer)
• Students are not allowed to bring to school any non-Sirius College uniform items.
• Any items found will be confiscated and parents/guardians will be required to collect items from the school. All uniform items are required to have the names of students on it.
• Students are allowed to wear only Sirius College scarfs, beanies and caps.
